Frequently asked questions
Short, honest answers to the questions patients ask before they pick up the phone.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can self-refer for any of our treatments. We handle the communication back to your GP if you’d like us to.
How do I work out which treatment is right for me?
Start with a free 15-minute discovery call. We will ask the right questions to map your situation to the right pathway — injection-based or surgical — and tell you honestly which one fits.
Where do treatments happen?
All consultations, imaging, injections (Arthrosamid, ChondroFiller, PRP) and post-operative physio happen locally at our Grantham or Sleaford clinic. Hip replacement surgery is performed at the 5-star Weymouth Street Hospital in central London — we organise the luxury car door-to-door.
How much does it cost?
Hip replacement is £17,800 fully inclusive. Arthrosamid is £2,995 per injection. ChondroFiller is £2,995 per injection. PRP for groin pain is £1,200 per session. Consultation with Professor Lee is £250. Discovery call is free. Full breakdown on our cost page.
Is finance available?
Yes — via our funding partner kandoo. Monthly options with no early-repayment penalty.
How long is recovery from hip replacement?
Most patients stand on the day of surgery, leave hospital the next day and walk unaided within a week or two. We provide unlimited physiotherapy at Grantham or Sleaford as part of the package, so recovery is structured rather than left to chance.
